The South Lodberrie is a unique property in the heart of Lerwick, Shetland yet still far enough to enjoy peace and tranquility.

The Lodberries (Old Norse, hladberg, a landing rock) were used as waterfront stores.

The house is a few steps away from the famous Bain's beach and is a neighbor to - "Da Lodberrie", the most famous and photographed house in Shetland, also known as the private residence of DI Jimmy Perez of the TV show Shetland.

In July 2021 we visited Shetland for the 5th time and fell in love with the South Lodberrie after spending a month at the house.

After conversation with the lovely owners, Ingrid and Mike we decided to buy it.

We plan on living at the house as much as possible but the house will be available for weekly rentals when we are not in Shetland.
